Born in 1973 and raised in Suffolk where I was a keen member of the Essex and Suffolk Pony Club and represented GB as an individual at the Pony European Eventing Championships. After leaving school I worked as a working pupil for Ruth McMullen, Lucinda Green and Mark Todd. I switched to dressage when I realised I was neither good enough, or brave enough, to stay in eventing. I won my first Dressage National title in 1999. I made my international debut in 2006. That year I also represented GB in the Nations Cup Team at Hickstead CDIO, was a close runner up in the British National Championships for the national title, and won the Grand Prix and the Special at my first international competition in Saumur, France. To date I have won 11 National titles. Last year I started competing again for the first time after a three year break. My aims for 2011 and beyond? To keep on riding, learning and improving.
